New Perspective Studio is nestled in the hills of Northern California and is home to artists Phil Dynan and Anastasia Nelson. The two artists have been working together for over 20 years, creating several series of paintings and now working on 3D Painted Sculptures.
The sculptures are part of a working relationship with London-based artist Patrick Hughes who is the man behind the concept of the Reverse Perspective, ani-morphosis (motion and change) sculptures.

ABOUT
The first sculpture was completed by New Perspective studio in 2018. Entitled “Gallery Row at Night” it was first built in wood by woodworker, Bill Yoskowitz. Bill says it was one of the most difficult projects in his long woodworking career. Design and structure are ever-evolving and Bill is already working on new pieces for 2019. The art concept was based on French 18th Century architecture and includes Art Galleries, as well as a “catfe” and a restaurant. Art in the Galleries represents works by Phil Dynan, Anastasia Nelson, Patrick Hughes and Stephen Bennett.

Ana is seen here painting reproductions of art by Stephen Bennett onto the first New Perspective sculpture.
Other 2018 sculptures include “Mayan Art” (a print with art by the Vasquez family, Lake Atitlan, Guatemala); an autobiographical sculpture with the work of Phil Dynan; “California Dreamin’” the work of Anastasia Nelson and Phil Dynan); and a Biographical commission for Bob Nance of Bob’s Tires stores.
